The company has provided a battery of 17.3kWh capacity in the MG Comet EV, which takes about four to five hours to fully charge. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 2.5 hours using a 7.4 kW charger. Once fully charged, this car can run for about 200 kilometers. However, when driving it in bumper-to-bumper traffic, we experienced a distance of only about 175 to 180 kilometers on a full charge. The motor installed in it provides 42 PS of power and 110 Newton meters of torque.
