Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is once again making headlines, this time under its Redmi sub-brand. According to reports, the company is preparing to launch its new smartphone, Redmi 15 5G, in the market soon. Although there has been no official announcement yet, key specifications have surfaced through leaked reports and information shared by tipster Hero420Yasin.
As per the leak, the Redmi 15 5G will feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to come in three color variants with a vertical middle frame design, giving it a more premium look compared to previous models.

In terms of photography, the phone is said to include a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor, while the 8MP front camera will handle selfies and video calls. One of the standout features will be its massive 7000mAh battery, which is expected to support 33W wired fast charging.
The Redmi 15 5G is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This configuration could make it a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Additional features include an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, NFC support, and Wet Touch 2.0 technology, which allows smooth operation even with wet hands. The device will run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, promising enhanced performance and a smoother user experience.
According to IT Home, the phone may debut in international markets at a price of 699 Malaysian Ringgit, which roughly translates to ₹13,500. However, this pricing is based on the global variant, and there is no official confirmation yet regarding its launch in the Indian market.
