Poco, known for delivering feature-packed smartphones at competitive prices, is now gearing up to launch a new budget-friendly device in the Indian market. The upcoming smartphone, named Poco C71, is expected to offer a balanced mix of performance and affordability, with some impressive features for its price segment.
According to recent reports, the Poco C71 may arrive in India between May and June 2025, with a starting price of under ₹10,000. Designed to appeal to budget-conscious users, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 720 pixels. What’s more exciting is the expected 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 250 nits, which could make this one of the most vibrant displays in its category.
When it comes to performance, Poco seems to be focusing on efficiency and battery life. The device is expected to be powered by a UNISOC processor, paired with a 5,200mAh battery. To complement this, the phone may also support 15W fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up and stay connected longer.
Camera performance could also be a highlight, especially for a phone in this price range. The Poco C71 is rumored to sport a 32MP AI-supported primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. If these details hold true, it would mark a significant step up for photography in the entry-level segment.
While Poco has yet to make an official announcement, leaked information suggests that the Poco C71 could disrupt the budget smartphone space when it launches later this year.
