However, he also clarified that it will be introduced in a new avatar, which will meet the current pollution control standards (BS6).

The return of RX100 is not easy. The real challenge is its engine. The original RX100 had a 98.2 cc two-stroke engine. But now for BS6 rules, there should be a four-stroke engine of at least 200 cc. In such a situation, not only the engine but the entire design will have to be changed so that the weight is balanced and the original identity of the RX100 remains.
Along with this, the powerful sound of the RX100 was also a specialty. How will the new engine be and will it be able to give the old sound, this is also an important question. The company is also working on this so that the originality of the RX100 remains intact even in the new avatar.

There has been no official announcement yet regarding the return of the RX100. The company says that they are considering it and will launch it at the right time. It is estimated that if this bike comes, it can be launched by mid-2024 or 2026.
A mix of modern and retro looks can be seen in the new RX100. It can have a round headlight with LED DRL, wide handlebar, comfortable seat and Yamaha’s badging on the fuel tank. Also, the company can equip it with disc brakes and alloy wheels for safety.
Yamaha RX 100 Price
It is difficult to say anything about the price of the new RX100 right now, but it is estimated that its price can be between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh. In such a situation, it will compete with bikes like Bajaj Pulsar and Hero Splendor.
