CFMoto’s plan for a three-cylinder sportbike was first revealed in March 2023. A prototype was officially confirmed and briefly run in front of fans at the Zhuzhou International Circuit in China in September last year

The chassis appears to be aluminum with a cast rear section welded to extruded main spars. The seat section is bolted on and may be a self-supporting design, either composite or cast alloy.
