TVS Motor Company has confirmed the launch of its upcoming TVS Orbiter e-scooter in India on August 28, 2025. The company recently released a teaser titled “Get ready for an electrifying ride”, confirming that this will be an all-new electric scooter in its portfolio.
Leaked design sketches from Indonesia have revealed the Orbiter’s styling. The scooter features sharp LED lighting elements, giving it a modern and practical look. At the front, it has horizontal LED DRLs with integrated turn indicators, while the main headlamp is mounted on the handlebar cowl. A tall windscreen adds to its touring-oriented design.

The side profile shows slim body panels with a prominent element flowing from the apron to the floorboard, likely housing the battery pack. At the rear, the scooter comes with a split grab rail, LED tail lamp, and compact tail section.
Key Features (Expected)
- Small glovebox with charging port
- Dual rear shock absorbers
- 14-inch front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel
- Possibility of a mid-mounted motor for better weight balance and performance
The Orbiter is expected to be positioned below the TVS iQube, targeting customers looking for a more affordable EV option. With this launch, TVS aims to expand its presence in the fast-growing electric two-wheeler segment.
The TVS Orbiter e-scooter will compete with models like the Ola S1 Air, Ather Rizta, and Bajaj Chetak Urbane in the Indian market.
